Hello, my name is Complicated, but most people call me Kara. I've been a diagnosed spoonie since 2018 but have been fighting for answers for at least an additional decade. I work tirelessly and tiredly to advocate for myself and my kids as we fight through the obstacles of Healthcare. 

Outside of my many appointments, I work full-time in Healthcare (the irony!), am earning a degree in weight-inclusive centered dietetics, and somehow find time to spend with my amazing husband and 2 kids.

My goal with this podcast is to make sure that YOU know you're not alone in this lonely place. We may or may not share diagnosis codes, but we connect over some of the deepest, most emotional situations that you never knew you shared.
